This Privacy Policy explains how Basero handles information when you use the app. Basero is a private, device-based tool for recording daily fiber and water intake and reviewing personal habit patterns. It is designed to work without creating a user profile or sending your intake records to us.
1. Scope and Information You Enter
You may enter fiber amounts, water amounts, dates and times, short notes, and daily goals. These records are stored locally on your device so the app can calculate daily progress, show a timeline, and prepare a seven-day summary. We do not receive these records on our servers.
2. Information the App Does Not Collect
Basero does not request your name, email address, password, precise location, contacts, photos, health records, advertising identifier, or cross-app activity. The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking tools. It does not access HealthKit or send your entries to an external artificial intelligence service.
3. How Information Is Used
The app uses your local records only to provide the features you request: saving entries, comparing them with your chosen goals, editing the daily timeline, calculating balanced days, and creating a weekly text summary. Any summary you choose to share is prepared on your device and is sent only through the destination you select in the iOS share interface.
4. Apple and Platform Services
Apple may process limited technical information when you download or operate an iOS app under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. That platform processing is controlled by Apple, not by Basero. We do not add an analytics or advertising layer to that platform activity.
5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Your entries and preferences remain in the app's local storage until you edit them, delete individual entries, use the in-app Delete Account action to remove all local app data, or remove the app from your device. Logging out clears the local entry state used to open the main app but does not delete intake records. Because the app has no cloud profile, we cannot retrieve or restore local records after they are deleted.
6. Disclosure and Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or disclose your intake records. Basero does not operate a remote database for those records. If you voluntarily export a weekly summary, you control the receiving app or person and should review that destination's privacy practices before sharing.
7. Security
We limit handling by keeping app records on your device and by avoiding unnecessary network services. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for deciding where to send any summary you export.
8. Your Choices
You can correct or remove individual records from the timeline, change your goals, avoid using optional notes, export a summary only when you choose, or delete all local app data from Settings. You may also stop using the app and remove it from your device.
9. Children's Privacy
Basero is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information to us may contact us.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or applicable requirements. A revised version will show a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to future use.
