These Terms of Service govern your use of Basero. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Acceptance and Purpose of the App
Basero is a general wellness and habit-recording tool that helps you enter fiber and water amounts, compare them with goals you choose, and review local summaries. The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, prevent, or treat any condition.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian. The app is not directed to children under 13.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts, times, notes, and goals you enter. Food fiber references are general estimates and may differ by product, preparation, and serving size. You should use product labels or qualified professional advice when accuracy is important.
You are also responsible for protecting your device, reviewing entries before relying on a summary, and using the app in a way that complies with applicable law.
4. General Wellness Notice
The app's progress indicators, balanced-day calculation, and habit suggestions are informational only. They are not a substitute for medical advice. Do not use the app to make urgent health decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, dietary restrictions, hydration needs, or changes to a care plan.
5. Local Records and Exports
Your app records are kept locally on your device. You may edit or delete them through the available controls. When you choose to export a weekly summary, you are responsible for selecting an appropriate destination and for any further disclosure of that summary. Deleted local records may not be recoverable.
6. App Content and Ownership
The app interface, original text, visual elements, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose on an Apple device.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, interfere with app operation, attempt to bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, misuse the app to harm another person, or copy and redistribute protected app materials without permission.
8. Apple Platform Terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to applicable App Store and Apple terms. Apple is not responsible for the app's content, local records, or general wellness guidance. If these Terms conflict with mandatory platform terms, the mandatory platform terms control to the extent of the conflict.
9. Availability and Changes
We may maintain, improve, modify, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every future device configuration, or permanent availability of any particular food reference. We will not intentionally remove your local records, but device changes, software failures, or deletion may cause data loss.
10. Disclaimers and Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Basero is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Fiber estimates, progress calculations, and suggested next steps should be independently reviewed before you rely on them.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or decisions made from app information. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict use if you materially violate these Terms or misuse the software. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits survive termination where applicable.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect app or legal changes. A revised version will display a new effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
